It all started with a Christmas gift for my mom.
She’s a prolific sewer and has been making clothing and home décor for friends and family for many, many years. But each year, when their birthdays or Christmas rolled around, she had to rack her brain to try to remember what she’d made the year before, five years before, ten years before… That’s a lot of projects to remember!
To help her, I made her a gift of my own: a journal to keep track of her sewing projects.
She absolutely loves this sewing journal. In fact, she’s almost filled the original and is ready to start a new one! Her sewing friends began asking if they could get one, too.
In this 8.5 x 5.5” journal, you’ll have space to log 64 unique sewing projects. If you sew one new thing a week, that’s more than a year of projects! Keep track of:
- When you completed the item
- Whom you made it for
- What pattern, size, and materials you used
- Any special and unique features or details
The journal is printed on recycled paper, and it’s wire-bound, so it will lay flat on the table and is easy to write in.
This sewing project journal makes a great gift for the avid sewer in your life—including you!
